Visit Saint Peter's Basilica, the heart of Christianity and the universal symbol of spirituality. Follow the directions of the Digital Audio Guide to discover this extraordinary place and its fascinating history. Admire every detail of its priceless works of art, from Saint Peter's Baldachin to Michelangelo's Pietà and Dome, under which the tomb of Saint Peter, the first Pope of the Church, is held.
The booking includes:

Duration: approximately 1 hour.
Type: Private, Free Access.
Point of departure: The visit begins after the access control and security checks (see instructions in the email containing the access QR codes). Follow the instructions of the Digital Audio Guide to start your discovery tour of the Basilica.
- Immediately after booking, you will receive e-mail no. 1 with the VOUCHER confirming the services.
- Within 48 hours before your visit, you will receive e-mail no. 2 with the QR CODE to be shown during access controls.
- Within 24 hours before your booked visit, you will receive e-mail no. 3 with the QR codes/links for activation and access to the Digital Audio Guide.
- The access QR Codes are compulsory. If, on the day of your visit to the Basilica, you have not received the emails with the access QR Codes and those for the Digital Audio Guides: (1) Also check your spam/junk folder. (2) Go to https://myqr.basilicasanpietro.va to retrieve them by entering your email and the information shown on the confirmation voucher.
Time: The ticket is valid for a specific time bracket. Please ensure that you arrive by the time indicated on your booking confirmation to guarantee access, also allowing time for security checks.
Minimum age: Recommended for children aged 6 and up. Children and young people under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Accessibility: Pets are not allowed. Please note that there is no cloakroom service available inside Saint Peter's Basilica at the moment, so we recommend traveling light and bringing only small backpacks or small personal bags.
Accessibility for People with Disabilities, Pregnant Women and Wheelchairs: For people with disabilities and pregnant women, there is a designated entrance to the Basilica available, with a ramp to access security controls in the Basilica.
Cancellation policy: In case of cancellation on the visitor's part, no refund can be given. Booking is nominative, non-transferable, non-refundable and can't be changed. It will not be permitted to change the date.
Cancellation for unexpected closure: Within 24 hours of the date booked, the visitor may be informed of possible cancellations due to events or commitments communicated by the Government of the Vatican City.
Clothing: Clothing must be appropriate for a religious site: long trousers for men, and skirts below the knee or trousers for women. All shoulders must be covered.
Not permitted: It is forbidden to make phone calls, smoke, consume food and drinks, bring pets or large objects inside.
Useful information: Please behave respectfully and remain silent at all times. Please silence your mobile phone.
The Digital Audioguide can only be used on smartphones (using your own earphones) with the following operating systems: iOS, Android, HarmonyOS, Windows 10 Mobile, Ubuntu Touch. The supported web browsers are: Safari, Google Chrome, Huawei Browser, Microsoft Edge, Blink/Chrome optimized for Ubuntu. It is not designed to work on tablet devices or tablet PCs. Therefore, before proceeding with the purchase of the booking service, please ensure that you have a device that meets the above requirements.
ATTENTION: For bookings at 18:00, please note that the Caves are not accessible to the public. Therefore, the visit will be limited to the Basilica, and the audio guide will only be available for this part of the tour.
Please also note that, as usual, explanations in the Basilica are not allowed from 18:00.
